Welcome to WanderMap. By using our application, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using WanderMap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
2. Description of Service
WanderMap is a travel tracking application that allows users to:
- Track countries and states visited
- Use an interactive scratch map interface
- Store photos and notes about travels
- View travel statistics
- Sync data across devices via iCloud
3. User Accounts
WanderMap does not require account creation. Your data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced through your Apple iCloud account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
WanderMap offers both free and premium features:
- Free Tier: Basic features with limited scratch count
- Premium Subscription: Monthly ($3.99) or Yearly ($24.99) with full access
- Lifetime Purchase: One-time payment ($59.99) for permanent access
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
5. Free Trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription.
6. Refunds
All refund requests must be made through Apple's App Store. We cannot process refunds directly.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create in WanderMap, including photos and notes. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you add to the app.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or decompile the application
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any service
- Interfere with other users' use of the application
9. Intellectual Property
WanderMap and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
WanderMap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
11. Limitation of Liability
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or website.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
